A conversation with Quentin Caffier

Quentin Caffier, a professional photographer since 2008, specialises in studio photography, focusing on portraits, fashion, advertising and artistic series. After winning the broncolor Prize in 2008 and the SFR Jeunes Talents Award in 2009, his work has been exhibited in Paris and Tokyo.

Strongly influenced by alternative cultures like rock, punk, modern primitives, and geek culture (manga, comics, video games, science fiction), Caffier’s photography blends advertising, fashion and pop aesthetics with societal themes.

In 2011, he established the Five Monkeys photography and video studio near Paris, which has attracted artists from around the world. In 2016, he co-founded the production company Sélénites Films to pursue more ambitious video projects.
