Ken Jackson - Formerly Chief Photographer, Victoria & Albert Museum, Co-Director of Cultural Heritage Digitisation Limited

The choice of broncolor lighting was the easiest decision I had to make as Chief Photographer at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. The V&A's large and complex collection comprises intricately detailed textiles, the smoothest sculptured marble, dazzling jewels and shining metalwork and ceramics. These present many challenges for the in-house studio photographers. broncolor lighting and light shapers create the cleanest and most consistent image quality we have produced throughout our 150-year history. The simplicity of operation with multi-functionality appreciated by everyone whether used in a ceiling-track system or on studio stands. Its reliability is second to none being well designed, robust and perhaps most importantly its compatibility across the whole product range.

They appreciate the legendary quality of the original broncolor light with its highest consistency and repeatability.

Reflectance Transformation Imaging

The Scope D50 is the first fully commercialized system to analyze artifacts' surfaces by Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI), also known as polynomial texture mapping.

The unique Scope D50 system exists in two versions, in a white LED version for the visible spectral range only and in a multispectral version. The multispectral option with additional ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) LEDs reveal vast amount of data that are invisible to the naked eye. The Scope D50 is a valuable tool for archeology, fine art surface analysis, and many more applications in the scientific photography market. Click here for more product details.
