Capturing a dog portrait is a unique challenge itself. It takes a huge amount of patience; be an animal person meaning take a moment to bond with your subject, limit distractions, uses treats and most importantly work with the right equipment.

To capture this dog portraiture I set up three lamps with different kinds of light shapers attached onto the lamp.
My main light was a Siros 800S attached to our Satellite Staro. I placed the Satellite Staro coming from above shining down onto the dog.
The strongly center-oriented diffuser makes the light more brilliant and interesting than that of a homogeneously illuminated softbox.
It made the dogs fur look very shiny and beautiful.
Using the combination of Siros 800 S and Satellie Staro was a brilliant combination; I was able to work with lower light, get a fast flash duration and freeze the motion.
My other two lights were two Siros 400S attached to our 30 x 120 Stripsoftboxes. They created my wanted backlight.

Obviously I set all Siros on speed mode with the help of our bronControl app.
It was a challenge, but with all the help I had one stunning shoot, lots of fun and was satisfied with my results.
