1. Latest version:
- Siros / Siros S: 11 (published: 7 June 2019), changelog.
- Siros L: 06 (published: 7 June 2019), changelog.
2. If you are using a PC, proceed as follows:
Download for PC: Siros Updater (WIN)
System requirements: Windows 7 or higher
1. Download the file
2. Open the file Siros_Updater_WIN.zip
3. Open the Update Package
4. Unzip the file SirosFirmwareUpdater.exe
5. Open Folder Update Package
6. Open the File SirosFirmwareUpdater.exe and follow the instructions on the screen
Warning: please do not separate your unit from the computer during the update process.
3. If you are using a MAC, proceed as follows:
Download for MAC: Siros Updater (OSX)
System requirements: OS X version 10.10.5 or higher
1. Download the file
2. Double-click on the file Siros_Updater_app.zip
3. Open the folder Siros_Updater_OSX
4. Open the application SirosUpdater and follow the instructions on the screen.
Warning: Please do not separate your unit from the computer during the update process.

4. bronControl App
The update allows you to use the latest version of the bronControl App for all Siros and Siros L Wifi units as well as broncolor HS for Siros L, Siros 800 and Siros 800 S.
The bronControl App is available to download, free-of-charge, from the App Store or Google Play Store.
The Desktop Version is available on the broncolor Website (Link).
It considerably extends the range of functions of your unit. These include functions such as Alternate, Free Mask, Delay or Synchronised Sequences.
5. broncolor HS
The broncolor HS function lets you use your Siros L, Siros 800 and Siros 800 S flash in combination with very short exposure time settings on your camera. Please note that the latest version of the bronControl app and the broncolor HS function require the software release 09 or later for Siros and Siros S, and for Siros L software release 04 or later. Older firmware versions must first be brought up to the latest revision using the Siros Updater.
6. To see which software is installed on your unit, proceed as follows:
Switch off the unit. Press and hold the rotary controller and switch on the unit. The software release will be shown in the display for about 2 seconds. If your unit already has the required software release, no update is needed.
For instance, you would read:
- First: "07" = software version 7
- Followed by: "08" = Siros 800 (a Siros 400 would display „04“)
