Predaceous

Wildlife conservation is one of the most important goals in my life, the irony is that I am a fashion photographer, and sometimes fashion is not the best friend of the environment. That's why I started this project in which I worked together with these amazing birds to create consciousness in the world for animal care organizations.

I love birds, especially predaceous birds, and finally I got the opportunity to work with these amazing creatures. My inspiration was to create a mix between a Russian and a Mongolian queen who hunts in her kingdom with the help of eagles, falcons and owls.

For this specific photo shoot I looked for a location which works for this theme. After some scouting I found this amazing place, “The Shark House”, made by the renowned architect Javier Senosiain, who makes his creations with structures especially made to work perfectly with the nature.

It was a 12 hours photo shoot, I used one Siros L with the big 150 broncolor Octabox and two reflectors and a Pentax K1 with 28 - 70 mm 2.8 Lens.
