How to shoot a Portrait with Para - Simplicity

Sometimes less is more.

This images was captured with a Siros 800S in combination with the Para 133.
The Para was placed next to the model and the position of the focusing tube was in the middle.

Creating a light, which is hard and soft at the same time, strongly directional, rich in contrast, but due to the 133 cm diameter, not too hard. Perfectly controlled brightness gradients and dramatic light control can be simply and quickly attained with the Para.

A strong light reflector and the positioning of your lightshaper allows you to reduce power, work with fast flash durations and in this case to freeze the movement of her hair.

Para’s are the most flexible lighting system – you get exactly the light that you want.
It was a pleasure to experiment with one lightshaper and to experience the possibilities.
