How to Photoshoot Interior Design: Kitchen

Even though the white kitchen is in a very bright room, without additional light it looks too dark.

If the exposure is longer and the aperture more open, it might look correctly exposed inside, but then the green trees and bushes outside the window get too bright and overexposed.

The light shaper used is a Balloon, an ideal light shaper for interiors. It is placed facing the ceiling on the left side close to the camera. All the bouncing light is making a general soft fill-in. The colour temperature of the image is a bit warm, as the light also illuminates the wooden floor.

On the right side there is a Litestick laying on the floor for the front part of the table, any other lamp would have been visible in the image as there was not enough space.

The power of the flash is set low, in order to keep the natural ambient light of the room still visible.

The power pack used is a Scoro 1600 S.
