Testing the new broncolor Stelos outdoors felt like opening a dialogue with light itself. I wanted to go beyond illumination and reach for something closer to painting - that soft, romantic atmosphere of the German late 18th and early 19th century, when nature was both subject and spirit.

Shooting just after dawn, I was struck by how effortlessly the Stelos adapted to shifting conditions. Its power and precision allowed me to refine the light until it felt alive - strong enough to shape the scene, yet delicate enough to preserve its poetry. With two softboxes - one on each Stelos unit, I could sculpt a mood that was dreamy, timeless, and closer to the canvas than to the studio.

For me, the Stelos wasn’t just a tool. It became part of the creative process - a way to master the light while letting it breathe, and to shape it in harmony with my vision.
