What is the benefit of using the Diffusion attachment for LED F160 (glass)?
LED F160 lamps fitted with the new glass diffusion attachment exhibit the same light characteristics and colour temperature as before; in addition, luminous flux increases from typically 12 000 lumens to typically 13 800 lumens – a gain of approximately 15%.
Can I upgrade my existing LED F160 (which came with a silver plastic diffusion attachment)?
Yes, this is actually very easy to accomplish:
1) Buy the new Diffusion attachment for LED F160 (glass)
2) Remove the silver Diffusion attachment from your LED F160 device
3) Mount the new black Diffusion attachment
4) Activate WiFi on your LED F160
5) On a desktop pc, laptop pc, tablet or smartphone create a Hotspot (SSID: LED-F160 ; Password: bronControl)
6) LED F160 will automatically connect to this Hotspot and install the latest firmware version
7) Enter LED F160's menu entry "Diffusor", select "BLACK" (default is "SILVER"), and quit the menu.
Done, enjoy a higher light output!

This new glass diffusion attachment, which is easy to recognise by its black ring, increases LED F160’s luminous flux from typically 12 000 lumens to typically 13 800 lumens – a gain of typically 15% light output.
LED F160 lamps fitted with the new glass diffusion attachment exhibit the same light characteristics and colour temperature as before (with the silver plastic diffusion attachment) – you can "mix" the two types without hesitation (use them on the same set).
Important note:
In order to ensure perfect light quality, the diffusion attachment mounted to the LED F160 must always match with the diffusion attachment type selected in the lamp’s sub menu. You will need to install the latest firmware version (V2.0 or higher) when using the new black diffusion attachment (instructions).
