How to Shoot Stunning Portrait with the Para

The Para 133 is used as a main light. Its position is defocused and is placed on the left side. The model looks into the light with her face, while her body is facing the camera.

No fill-in light is used; we do have an image with a certain contrast and the structure of the coat is clearly visible but, at the same time, the image is smooth.

For the background, HMI with a Par reflector with a PAR WFL lens and barn doors is used.
In this case, the same shape could probably be achieved with some honeycombs and a P70.
