How to Photograph a Fruit: Pineapple

Three Picolites are used for this shot.

The first Picolite has no accessories attached and is hidden behind the pineapple. It is set to a very high power (as it has to shine through about 1 cm of fruit pulp) and it is the only light hitting the yellow part of the fruit.

Two more Picolites equipped with narrow honeycomb grids illuminate the green leaves.
