bronAPI – Python Interface

Companies offering digital asset management platforms or other solutions for automated content production can now rely on broncolor products to ensure consistent lighting with highly reproducible colours. Any process that requires a streamlined, (semi-)automated workflow – such as e-commerce systems, vehicle inspection stations, photo booths, photo points in amusement parks or inline image capturing applications – will benefit from bronAPI. Flash and continuous light settings are controlled through software commands just like other standard network devices, and third-party photography solutions can be built on broncolor products.

bronAPI controls broncolor products in only three simple steps:

1. Configure the products to join your access point. Use shell.py to connect them with three simple commands.

2. Configure your DHCP server to always assign the same IP address to each light.

3. Access the lights via their IP addresses. Use the example shell.py or write your own.
