Yulia Gorbachenko

I was born and raised in Ukraine. Currently, I live in New York with my husband and son. What happened in between is what you want to read about.

In 2007, I moved to the US to find my calling – I was ready to work extremely hard for something I love, and I wanted to find out exactly what it was.

For my 21st birthday, as a complete surprise, I received a semi-professional camera and started shooting. I became truly passionate about photography very quickly.

While living in New York, I developed my photography style and graduated from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) with a Master's Degree in Digital Photography. I grew to specialize in fashion and beauty photography, where very subtle details can make a dramatic difference. The intersection of beauty, photography and New York excites me. I was born to live here. The city inspires me to do more, to grow faster, to dream bigger.

I live my destiny and I'm excited about the photographer I may become.
