Manuel Mittelpunkt

I'm a still life photographer based in Cologne, Germany. I don´t know what the sense of life is for most people, but I do know what my personal sense and ambition is: Making things beautiful through photography. I found this out at the age of 18, and it has been my passion from that time on.

At the age of 22, I opened up my own photography business, with the focus on stills, high speed images and cosmetic products. I am fortunate to have my own studio now, which I am very grateful for, because I can photographically experiment with liquids and all kinds of lotions. I am sure you can imagine how messy a shooting can get. And many times my studio looks, at the end of a shooting, like a complete disaster. However, it's always worth it because the results are remarkable.

My style of photography is reduced, clean, fresh and young - not forgetting that the most important point is including action. This gives every image it's own individual story and character, thus making them alive images. Yes, that's what it's about - making images alive to speak to the viewer's mind, heart and soul.

I love changes, challenges and, as mentioned, action. I love creating new worlds for every shooting and the most important thing is, I love expressing emotions. That´s why I truly believe that photography will always have an important status now and in the future. People love pictures with stories and character; especially when these stories touch their heart. Speaking to the viewer on an emotional level will always be my greatest concern and, if you will, mission.
